1. Data Rights Overview

You may request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion (erasure), restriction of processing, objection to processing, and portability of eligible data.

You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, without affecting prior lawful processing.

Rights are applied subject to legal exceptions and identity verification requirements.

2. How to Submit a Request

Submit your request by email to contact@cvprofile.tr or iletisim@cvprofile.tr. CVProfile is based in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Recommended subject line: "Data Subject Request - CVProfile" (or "Kisisel Veri Basvurusu (KVKK m.11)").

Please include enough detail for us to locate your account and process your request efficiently.

If your request relates to billing country or billing address details, please note these are processed by Polar and may need to be requested directly from Polar.

3. Identity Verification Note

To protect user data, we may request additional information to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If identity cannot be verified, we may refuse or limit the response to protect account security and third-party rights.

Any verification data provided will be used only for request handling and retained for the minimum period needed under 90-day security policy controls.

4. Response Timeline

For GDPR requests, we aim to respond within one month from a verified request, with up to two additional months where complexity or request volume requires extension.

For KVKK requests, eligible applications are answered within the legal period and in any case no later than 30 days.

If we extend response time, we will explain why and provide an updated timeline.

5. Escalation and Complaint Route

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may reply to the case email and request internal escalation.

You may also lodge a complaint with your competent supervisory authority or data protection authority in your jurisdiction.
