1. What Cookies Are

CVProfile uses cookies and similar technologies to run core account features, remember language settings, and understand service performance.
Some cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function; others are optional and managed through consent settings where required by law.
2. Cookie Categories Used on CVProfile
CVProfile currently uses a Necessary + Analytics model. Preference and Marketing categories are documented for transparency and future controls.

3. Legal Basis per Cookie Category
Necessary cookies are used based on legitimate interest and/or necessity to provide the requested service (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and Art. 6(1)(f), as applicable).
Analytics cookies are used on consent-based grounds where required by law (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)); where local law permits strictly limited analytics without consent, we apply minimization and configuration controls.
Preference cookies outside strictly necessary language persistence will be enabled only under an appropriate legal basis and disclosed in updated policy text.
Marketing cookies are not currently active on CVProfile.
4. Consent Lifecycle and How to Change Preferences
When required, you will see a cookie banner on first visit and can choose to accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences.
You can update your cookie choices at any time via the cookie settings link in the site footer, which reopens the preference panel.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before withdrawal.
Essential cookies remain active because they are required for secure account operation.
5. Browser and Device Controls
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies in browser settings.
Blocking necessary cookies may break core features such as login sessions, account actions, and profile management.
For broader tracking control, you can also use device and browser privacy features offered by your platform vendor.
