Terms of Service

1. Acceptance and Scope

These Terms of Service govern your use of CVProfile, including account registration, profile management, CV upload, public link publication, and related features.

By accessing or using CVProfile, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all policies referenced in these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use CVProfile.

You must provide accurate and current registration information and keep it updated.

You are responsible for compliance with local laws applicable to your use of the service.

3. Account Security and Credentials

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify us promptly at contact@cvprofile.tr if you suspect unauthorized use or a security incident.

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or legal compliance.

4. Public Visibility and CV Link Publication by Default

CVProfile is built for public sharing of resume information.

When your profile status is active, your CV link and profile page are publicly accessible by default.

Visitors who can access your public page may view and download the CV file you publish.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your uploaded content does not include sensitive or confidential data that you do not want publicly disclosed.

You may disable your profile, release your CV link, or delete your account if you no longer want public visibility.

5. User Content and Permissions

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading or publishing content on CVProfile, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the service.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights needed to upload and share your content and that your content does not violate applicable law or third-party rights.

We may remove or restrict content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, applicable law, or platform safety requirements.

6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You may not use CVProfile to engage in unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive conduct.

You may not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, scrape data at abusive scale, or infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.

You may not use CVProfile to publish content that violates employment, anti-discrimination, or data-protection law.

7. Intellectual Property

CVProfile, including software, branding, design, and non-user content, is protected by intellectual property laws and remains the property of the operator or licensors.

Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, no rights are granted to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from CVProfile materials.

8. Subscriptions, Billing, and Third-Party Payment Processor

Certain features are available only on paid plans. Plan details, pricing, and billing intervals are presented in the product interface.

Polar acts as Merchant of Record for paid subscriptions. Polar processes payment cards, invoicing, taxes, and refund/cancellation handling under Polar legal terms and checkout conditions.

CVProfile does not store full card details, billing country/address, or tax invoice records. CVProfile stores limited subscription metadata required to activate and maintain plan access.

Where recurring billing applies, you authorize recurring charges under the terms presented by Polar at checkout, until cancellation in accordance with Polar terms.

Questions about payment method, invoice content, or tax treatment should be directed to Polar support as the Merchant of Record.

9. Service Availability and Changes

We aim to keep CVProfile available and secure, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, including plan features, to maintain security, legal compliance, and product quality.

Where practical, we provide notice of material service changes.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

CVProfile is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CVProfile is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost opportunities, data loss, or reputational harm.

Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to CVProfile in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, subject to any higher mandatory protection under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CVProfile and its operator from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using CVProfile at any time and may delete your account through the account settings.

We may suspend or terminate access where there is a breach of these Terms, a legal requirement, security risk, or abuse of the platform.

Upon account deletion, profile and uploaded files are removed according to operational processes and retention obligations stated in the Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, excluding conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Istanbul Courts and Enforcement Offices, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

14. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will be published at /terms with a revised Last Updated date.

Continued use of the service after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
